Position: Curriculum Specialist

Overview: As a Curriculum Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and curricula. You will work closely with educators, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to design and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences. Your role will involve researching, analyzing, and staying up-to-date with educational trends and best practices to ensure our curriculum meets the needs of our students and aligns with our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify learning objectives, design instructional materials, and create assessment tools for various educational programs.
• Conduct needs assessments and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify gaps in the curriculum and make necessary revisions.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive curriculum framework that aligns with industry standards and educational requirements.
• Design and deliver training sessions and workshops for educators to enhance their instructional skills and knowledge of curriculum development.
• Utilize various instructional design models and methodologies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Conduct research and analyze data to identify emerging trends and best practices in education and integrate them into our curriculum.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in educational technology and incorporate them into the curriculum to enhance the learning experience.
• Collaborate with content developers to create multimedia materials such as videos, simulations, and interactive activities to supplement the curriculum.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum by collecting and analyzing data, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Lead the implementation of new educational programs and curricula, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with the organization's goals.
• Provide support and guidance to educators in implementing the curriculum in their classrooms.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to develop and deliver specialized curriculum for specific programs or initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and experience in applying them to curriculum development.
• Knowledge of various instructional design models and methodologies.
• Familiarity with current trends and best practices in education and educational technology.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in training and coaching educators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using educational technology and software for curriculum development.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.
