Position Title: Community Outreach Coordinator

Location: Ambae, Vanuatu

Employment Type: Contract to hire

About the Role: As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and individuals to promote our organization's mission and goals. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing outreach initiatives, events, and campaigns to engage with the community and raise awareness about our organization's services and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement community outreach strategies to promote our organization's mission and objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key community organizations, stakeholders, and individuals to increase our organization's visibility and engagement.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and social media content to promote events and initiatives.
• Plan and organize events, informational sessions, and workshops to educate the community about our organization's services and programs.
• Identify and attend community events and fairs to interact with potential partners and community members.
• Conduct research to identify potential community partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
• Provide assistance and support to community organizations seeking to collaborate with our organization.
• Maintain accurate records of community partnerships and outreach activities.
• Monitor and report on outreach activities, including metrics and outcomes, to evaluate the success of initiatives.
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in community outreach and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in community outreach, public relations, or a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills to plan and execute events and initiatives.
• Knowledge of social media and digital marketing to promote events and initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for community engagement and making a positive impact.
