Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement database applications to support the company's business operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain database structures, procedures, and functions to support data integrity and security.
Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure data availability.
Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
Develop and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
Stay up-to-date with emerging database trends and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the company's database systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in database development and management.
Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
Proficient in SQL and database programming languages, such as PL/SQL and T-SQL.
Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
Familiarity with database security and backup procedures.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
