Position: Ranch Operations Coordinator

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ranch Operations Coordinator to join our team. As the Ranch Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our ranch. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires a strong understanding of ranch operations, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of daily ranch operations, including livestock management, crop production, equipment maintenance, and facilities management.
• Develop and implement ranch policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the ranch.
• Create and manage work schedules for ranch staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of ranch supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary materials and services.
• Maintain accurate records of ranch activities, including production, expenses, and inventory.
• Conduct regular inspections of the ranch to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
• Collaborate with other ranch staff and departments to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
• Provide leadership and guidance to ranch staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct training and development programs for ranch staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in ranch operations, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong understanding of livestock management, crop production, and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and ranch management software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call for emergencies.
