Job Title: Radio Host

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and charismatic Radio Host to join our team and captivate audiences with engaging and entertaining content. As a Radio Host, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality radio shows that attract and retain listeners. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, research, and develop content for daily radio shows that align with the station's brand and target audience
• Host live shows, interviews, and discussions on a variety of topics, including news, current events, music, and lifestyle
• Engage and entertain listeners through engaging storytelling, humor, and audience interaction
• Conduct interviews with guests and facilitate discussions on-air while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor
• Prepare show rundowns, scripts, and interview questions to ensure a smooth and seamless flow of the show
• Monitor and adjust audio levels, music, and commercials during the live broadcast
• Collaborate with the production team to create promotional material, contests, and events to increase audience engagement and ratings
• Utilize social media platforms to promote the show and interact with listeners
• Attend community events, concerts, and other public appearances to represent the radio station and build relationships with listeners
• Stay up-to-date with current events, popular culture, and industry trends to ensure relevant and timely content for the audience
• Adhere to FCC regulations and station policies at all times

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radio Host or similar role
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to unexpected situations
• Strong research and interviewing skills
• Proficient in audio editing software and familiar with soundboard operation
• Knowledge of FCC regulations and industry standards
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong social media presence and understanding of its impact on audience engagement
• Proven track record of creating compelling and entertaining content
• Natural charisma and ability to connect with a diverse audience
