Job Title: Steel Quality Control Inspector

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Steel Quality Control Inspector to join our dynamic team. As a Steel Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all steel products meet the highest quality standards and specifications set by the company and regulatory bodies. Your keen eye for detail and ability to follow strict guidelines will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and reputation of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming steel materials, ensuring they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Use specialized equipment and tools to perform accurate and precise measurements and tests on steel products.
• Document and report any defects or non-conformities found during inspections, and work with relevant departments to address and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the manufacturing process.
• Conduct final inspections on finished products to ensure they meet all required specifications before they are released for shipment.
• Monitor and maintain quality control records and documentation, ensuring all reports and data are accurate and up-to-date.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance and continuously improve quality control processes.
• Communicate and work closely with suppliers and vendors to resolve any quality control issues.
• Train and mentor junior inspectors to develop their skills and knowledge in quality control procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality control is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the steel industry.
• Strong understanding of steel manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret data and make sound decisions based on findings.
• Sound knowledge of quality control procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
