Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mediation Specialist to join our team. As a Mediation Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating the resolution of disputes between parties through effective communication and negotiation techniques. You will play a critical role in promoting peaceful and mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of conflict situations and identify the root cause of the dispute.
• Communicate with all parties involved to gather relevant information and understand their perspectives.
• Facilitate negotiations between parties to reach a mutually agreeable resolution.
• Utilize conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate tense situations and promote effective communication.
• Maintain confidentiality and neutrality throughout the mediation process.
• Document all information and progress made during the mediation process.
• Provide guidance and advice to parties on the legal implications of their decisions.
• Collaborate with legal professionals when necessary to ensure the mediation process is in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with laws and regulations related to mediation and conflict resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Law or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mediation or conflict resolution.
• Strong understanding of mediation techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain neutral and unbiased in emotionally charged situations.
• Proficient in conducting research and analyzing information.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
