Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before they are released to our clients. You will work closely with our development team to identify and report any bugs or issues that may affect the performance of our software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand the software requirements and specifications
• Develop and execute test cases to verify the functionality and performance of our software products
• Identify, report, and track bugs and issues in our software using bug tracking tools
• Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved
• Conduct ad-hoc testing to cover any gaps in the test cases and ensure maximum test coverage
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on potential issues or areas for improvement
• Communicate effectively with the development team to provide status updates and address any issues that arise during testing
• Document test cases, procedures, and results to ensure traceability and provide reference for future testing
• Continuously improve and optimize the testing process to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Stay updated with industry trends and new testing methodologies to enhance the quality of our testing processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
• Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or similar
• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
