Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Agricultural Production Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, with a focus on crop production techniques and best practices. The Agricultural Production Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the production process from seed to harvest, ensuring the highest quality and yield of our crops.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans for various crops, including but not limited to fruits, vegetables, grains, and legumes.
• Monitor and manage crop growth, including irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.
• Collaborate with agronomists and other specialists to optimize crop yields and quality.
• Conduct soil and water testing to determine the best growing conditions for each crop.
• Create and maintain detailed records of production activities and crop performance.
• Train and supervise production staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues, making recommendations for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest agricultural trends and technologies to continuously improve production methods.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences, Agronomy, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in agricultural production, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of crop production techniques and best practices.
• Knowledge of irrigation, fertilization, and pest control methods.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various production sites.

Working Conditions: The Agricultural Production Specialist will primarily work outdoors on farms and production sites, with occasional office work. The position may require working long hours and weekends during peak production seasons.
