Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a GCP DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for the development, testing, and deployment of our applications on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure a streamlined and efficient process for delivering high-quality software to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the infrastructure on GCP.
• Implement best practices for GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that applications are built with scalability, reliability, and performance in mind.
• Automate deployment processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Work with the security team to ensure that all GCP resources are secure and comply with company policies and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in GCP and DevOps practices, and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with GCP, including experience with compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus or Datadog.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
