Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans for arts and crafts classes and workshops.
Instruct students in various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media.
Provide guidance and support to students to help them develop their creativity and artistic abilities.
Prepare and organize materials and supplies for classes.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
Monitor and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop new and exciting programs.
Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
Communicate with parents and caregivers about their child's progress and upcoming events.
Attend regular team meetings and professional development workshops.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching arts and crafts to children and adults.
Strong knowledge and skills in various art techniques and mediums.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with students of all ages and abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Working Conditions: This position is Part-time, with classes typically held in the afternoons and weekends. The instructor will work in a classroom setting and may need to lift and carry supplies. Occasional evening and holiday work may be required for special events.
