Overview: Welcome Waves Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Resort Activities Coordinator to join our team. As the Resort Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating a wide range of activities and events for our guests. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement a diverse range of activities and events for guests of all ages
• Create and maintain a schedule of activities, ensuring that all activities are well-planned and executed in a timely manner
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners to provide additional activities and services for guests
• Promote and market activities and events through various channels to increase guest participation
• Manage activity budgets and ensure that all expenses are within budgetary constraints
• Train and supervise activity staff, ensuring that they are knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service to guests
• Monitor and evaluate the success of activities and events, making necessary adjustments to improve guest satisfaction
• Maintain proper inventory of supplies and equipment needed for activities and events
• Ensure compliance with all safety and risk management protocols for all activities and events
• Communicate and collaborate with guests to gather feedback and suggestions for future activities and events
• Assist in the development of new activities and programs to continually enhance the guest experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups of people
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event planning software
• Knowledge of safety and risk management protocols for activities and events
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Passion for creating memorable experiences for guests and ensuring their satisfaction
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
