Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Science Operations Lead to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data science strategies, processes, and procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the team.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data science team, including project planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data science projects that align with business goals.
• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support to drive their professional growth.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science and identify opportunities to incorporate new techniques and technologies into our projects.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to ensure their continuous development and growth.
• Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to support data science initiatives.
• Monitor and report on the progress of data science projects, communicating any issues or delays to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all data science operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing data science projects from conception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of data science methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data visualization and storytelling to effectively communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
