Position: Makeup Artist

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative Makeup Artist to join our team. As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for providing makeup application services to clients for various occasions, including weddings, photoshoots, and special events. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and showcase your skills in creating unique and personalized looks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their desired look and provide recommendations based on their skin type, face shape, and occasion
• Perform makeup application services, including but not limited to, foundation, contouring, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lipstick
• Use a variety of makeup techniques to achieve different looks, such as natural, dramatic, or themed makeup
• Stay up-to-date with the latest makeup trends, products, and techniques to provide clients with fresh and modern looks
• Collaborate with hairstylists and other members of the team to create cohesive looks for clients
• Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation practices are followed when using makeup products and tools
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude towards clients
• Maintain and organize makeup products and tools, ensuring they are in good condition and well-stocked
• Keep track of inventory and place orders for new products as needed
• Communicate with clients before, during, and after appointments to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or issues
• Promote and market makeup services to attract new clients and retain existing ones
• Attend photoshoots, events, and other on-site locations as needed to provide makeup services to clients
• Uphold the company's standards and values, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Makeup Artist, preferably in a salon or freelance setting
• Excellent knowledge of makeup products, techniques, and trends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with clients of different ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds
• Creative and detail-oriented with a strong eye for color and symmetry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and on-site locations as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology or makeup artistry certification is a plus
