Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Curriculum Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and revising educational materials for our organization. You will work closely with subject matter experts and instructional designers to develop engaging and effective curriculum for a variety of educational programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum design, a passion for education, and excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and develop learning objectives for various educational programs
• Design and develop curriculum materials such as lesson plans, activities, assessments, and other instructional materials
• Ensure that all curriculum materials align with educational standards and meet the needs of our target audience
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends and best practices to inform curriculum development
• Work closely with instructional designers and multimedia specialists to incorporate interactive and engaging elements into the curriculum
• Review and revise existing curriculum materials to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Implement feedback and make necessary changes to curriculum materials based on evaluation results
• Assist in the development of training programs and materials for teachers and instructors to effectively deliver the curriculum
• Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design principles, educational standards, and best practices
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working with subject matter experts and instructional designers
• Proficient in using educational technology and learning management systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to a variety of audiences
• Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and develop engaging and interactive curriculum materials
• Detail-oriented and able to review and revise materials for accuracy and quality
• Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on learners’ lives
