Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paper Machine Operator to join our team. As a Paper Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining paper machines to produce high-quality paper products. This is a crucial role in our company as you will be ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our paper machines, which are the heart of our production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor paper machines to produce paper products according to specifications
• Adjust machine settings to control the speed, tension, and temperature of the paper machine
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, making necessary adjustments and repairs
• Monitor and maintain proper levels of raw materials, chemicals, and other supplies needed for paper production
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure paper products meet required standards
• Record production data and maintain accurate logs of machine operations
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and troubleshoot issues
• Clean and maintain machines and work area to ensure a safe and organized working environment
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical training in papermaking or related field is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating paper machines in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed
• Proven track record of working in a team environment and communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
