Position: Container Specialist

The Container Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the container infrastructure for our company. This role requires a deep understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and other related tools. The Container Specialist will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and management of containerized applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain container infrastructure for our organization.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand their container requirements and provide solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot container performance, availability, and security.
• Work with the operations team to ensure efficient deployment and management of containerized applications.
• Research and evaluate new containerization technologies and tools to improve our container infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for our container environment.
• Automate container deployment, scaling, and management processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in containerization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in managing container infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.
• Experience with container orchestration and automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
