Job Overview: As a Leasing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process for our residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with prospective tenants, showcasing the unique features of our properties and assisting them throughout the leasing process. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of the real estate market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify potential tenants and their needs
• Respond to all leasing inquiries via phone, email or in-person meetings
• Schedule and conduct property tours for prospective tenants
• Highlight the unique features and benefits of our properties to potential tenants
• Assist with the preparation of lease agreements and related documents
• Conduct thorough background and credit checks on potential tenants
• Negotiate lease terms and rental rates with potential tenants
• Maintain a database of available properties and their current status
• Monitor and track lease expirations and assist with lease renewals
• Collaborate with property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations
• Attend networking events and build relationships with local businesses and organizations to attract potential tenants
• Stay up-to-date with the latest real estate market trends and make recommendations to improve leasing strategies
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and address any concerns or issues in a timely manner
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants
• Track and report on leasing activities, occupancy rates and other relevant metrics to management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing or property management
• Strong knowledge of the real estate market and leasing process
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven track record of meeting leasing targets and maintaining high occupancy rates
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Valid real estate license is preferred
