Job Title: Senior 3D Animator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior 3D Animator to join our dynamic and fast-paced animation team. As a Senior 3D Animator, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and realistic animations for a variety of projects, including films, television shows, video games, and other media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute 3D animation concepts that align with the project’s vision and objectives
• Create high-quality character animations using both keyframe and motion capture techniques
• Utilize various software programs, such as Maya, Blender, and MotionBuilder, to bring characters and objects to life
• Develop and refine animation pipelines and processes to ensure efficient and effective production workflows
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior animators, helping them to improve their skills and reach their full potential
• Work closely with other departments, such as the art and design teams, to ensure seamless integration of animations into the final product
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, and share knowledge and insights with the team to continuously improve the quality of our animations
• Take initiative and provide creative solutions to technical challenges and production issues
• Collaborate with directors and producers to ensure that project deadlines and quality standards are met

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D animation, preferably in film, television, or video games
• Proficient in 3D animation software, such as Maya, Blender, or MotionBuilder
• Strong understanding of animation principles, such as timing, weight, and body mechanics
• Knowledge of motion capture techniques and experience working with motion capture data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges
• A strong portfolio showcasing your animation skills, with a focus on character animation
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines
