Job Summary: As a Translation Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of translation projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with clients, translators, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects. You will also be responsible for managing project budgets, timelines, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously from start to finish
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide regular updates on project progress
• Assign projects to translators and ensure timely delivery of high-quality translations
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate project resources and ensure project specifications are met
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of translations
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the project
• Handle client feedback and make necessary revisions to ensure client satisfaction
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and implement best practices in project management
• Mentor and train junior project managers to improve overall team performance
• Maintain project documentation and update project management systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the translation industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in project management software and tools
• Strong understanding of translation processes and terminology
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple translation projects
• Fluency in English and at least one other language
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
