Position: Major Gifts Officer

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Overview: Raise Hope Fund-Raising is seeking an experienced and motivated Major Gifts Officer to join our team. The Major Gifts Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure major gifts from individual donors. This individual will play a critical role in helping our organization achieve its fundraising goals and make a significant impact on the communities we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive major gifts program, including identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors.
• Conduct research and identify potential major gift donors, utilizing various resources such as donor databases, wealth screening tools, and networking opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with major gift donors, providing them with regular updates on the impact of their contributions and stewarding them towards increased giving.
• Work closely with the Development team to create personalized cultivation and solicitation strategies for major gift prospects.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information and develop compelling proposals for potential major gift donors.
• Plan and execute major gift donor events and stewardship activities, such as cultivation dinners, site visits, and recognition events.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the organization's database and provide regular reports on major gift fundraising progress.
• Stay up-to-date on fundraising best practices and industry trends, and share knowledge with the Development team to continuously improve fundraising efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in major gifts fundraising, with a proven track record of securing significant gifts.
• Strong understanding of fundraising principles and techniques, particularly in major gifts and donor stewardship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and colleagues.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficient in using donor databases and other fundraising tools.
• Passion for the mission and values of Raise Hope Fund-Raising and the ability to effectively communicate them to potential donors.
