Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual coaching sessions to students to help them set and achieve their academic and personal goals.
Develop and implement personalized success plans for each student, taking into consideration their strengths, weaknesses, and unique needs.
Monitor and track student progress, including grades and attendance, and provide timely interventions and support as needed.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and address any academic or personal challenges faced by students.
Conduct workshops and seminars on topics such as time management, study skills, and stress management to help students develop key skills for academic success.
Create and maintain a positive and inclusive environment for students, promoting diversity and equity.
Serve as a mentor and advocate for students, providing guidance and support as they navigate their academic journey.
Utilize technology and data to enhance student success initiatives and track student progress.
Stay updated on best practices and research related to student success and incorporate them into coaching strategies.
Collaborate with other Student Success Coaches to develop and implement comprehensive student success programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic coaching, tutoring, or counseling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Proven track record of helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.
Knowledge of student development principles and learning theories.
Familiarity with academic support services, resources, and technology.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Passion for working with students and helping them reach their full potential.
