About the role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Teacher to join our team of educators. As a High School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students aged 14-18 years old. You will be teaching a variety of subjects, providing guidance and support to students, and collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to ensure the academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum and standards.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to effectively engage students in the learning process.
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Utilize technology and other learning resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate school-wide events and activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to further enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• State teaching license or certification.
• Previous experience teaching at the high school level is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and handle student behavior issues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
