• Develop and execute database migration plans, including data mapping, data transformation, and data validation
• Utilize various tools and technologies to migrate data from legacy systems to new databases while ensuring data integrity and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process, ensuring minimal disruptions to business operations
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to database migration processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in database management and migration
• Extensive knowledge of database design, data structures, and data migration processes
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management tools such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex data issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus
• Certifications in database management or data migration are highly desirable
