About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly organized, energetic and customer-focused Leisure Services Coordinator to join our team. As the Leisure Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all recreational and leisure activities offered by our organization. You will play a vital role in creating a fun and engaging experience for our clients, while also ensuring the smooth operation and success of our leisure services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive leisure services program that caters to the needs and interests of our clients.
• Plan, organize and oversee a variety of recreational activities, events and programs, such as sports leagues, fitness classes, arts and crafts, and cultural outings.
• Collaborate with internal departments to create a diverse and well-rounded program that appeals to all ages and abilities.
• Recruit, train and supervise a team of leisure services staff, including instructors and volunteers.
• Create and manage a budget for leisure services, ensuring that all expenses are within the approved budget.
• Market and promote leisure services to the community through various channels, such as social media, flyers, and partnerships with local organizations.
• Maintain accurate records of program participation, revenue, and expenses.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by enforcing rules and regulations, and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Continuously evaluate and improve leisure services based on client feedback and industry trends.
• Attend regular meetings with management to provide updates, discuss challenges and propose solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a community or recreational setting.
• Knowledge of leisure services programming, event planning, and budget management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate program schedules.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of local community resources and partnerships is an asset.
