Position: Network Architect

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network infrastructure solutions that support our organization's business needs. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our network architecture, ensuring its reliability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop network architecture solutions that align with business requirements
• Plan and implement upgrades, enhancements, and expansions to our existing network infrastructure
• Conduct comprehensive network assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
• Lead the development and maintenance of network policies, procedures, and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions meet business needs
• Research and evaluate new technologies to incorporate into our network infrastructure
• Manage and troubleshoot complex network issues and outages
• Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and SOPs
• Mentor and train junior network engineers and architects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network architecture and design
• Proven experience with designing and implementing complex network solutions
• Expert knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper networking equipment
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Familiarity with network virtualization and SDN technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE or JNCIE are preferred.
