Job Title: Outdoor Activity Specialist

Are you passionate about the great outdoors and inspiring others to explore and appreciate nature? Do you have experience leading outdoor activities and a love for adventure? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you as an Outdoor Activity Specialist.As an Outdoor Activity Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and leading a variety of outdoor activities for individuals and groups. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement exciting and engaging outdoor programs that cater to a diverse range of participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and lead a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking, and more.
• Assess and address the safety and physical abilities of participants to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
• Provide instruction and guidance to participants on outdoor skills, techniques, and safety protocols.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary equipment and materials for activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure all safety protocols are followed during activities.
• Monitor weather conditions and make adjustments to activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of participant information, activity logs, and incident reports.
• Assist in the marketing and promotion of outdoor activities to attract new participants.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop new and innovative outdoor programs.
• Maintain outdoor equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Recreation, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading outdoor activities.
• Strong knowledge of outdoor activities and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
• Physically fit and able to participate in outdoor activities.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of local outdoor areas and attractions is a plus.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, is required.
