Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Public Safety Officer. As a Public Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our community. You will be responsible for enforcing laws, responding to emergencies, and providing assistance to those in need. We are looking for someone who is passionate about public service and has a strong desire to make a positive impact in their community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol designated areas on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to maintain order and prevent crime
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to individuals in need
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and make arrests when necessary
• Enforce laws and regulations, including traffic laws, and issue citations or warnings as needed
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats
• Conduct interviews and gather information from witnesses and suspects
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents and submit them to the appropriate authorities
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary
• Provide support and assistance to other departments within the organization
• Stay updated on laws, policies, and procedures related to public safety and attend training sessions as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in law enforcement or a related field
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical fitness test
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physically fit and able to perform the duties of the job, including standing, walking, and running for extended periods of time
