Position Title: Semi-truck Driver

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Semi-truck Driver to join our team. As a Semi-truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from one location to another using a semi-truck. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently deliver goods to our customers while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a semi-truck in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure safe operation of the vehicle
• Load and unload goods and materials onto the truck
• Plan and follow the most efficient route for each delivery
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the truck
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Semi-truck Driver
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to operate and maintain a semi-truck in a safe and efficient manner
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work long hours and weekends, as needed
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Must pass a drug test and criminal background check
