Key responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems and components for various projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications and project requirements
Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed designs and technical documentation
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify the most suitable materials and components for each project
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other project components
Perform calculations and simulations to validate design concepts and ensure their compliance with safety and performance standards
Create and maintain detailed project timelines and budgets, and ensure projects are delivered within the set deadlines and budget constraints
Offer technical support and guidance to junior engineers and designers, and assist in their professional development
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering, and implement them into project designs and processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a design and development role
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ANSYS
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
