Position: Culinary Education Instructor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Culinary Education Instructor to join our team. As a Culinary Education Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students the fundamentals of cooking and developing their culinary skills. Your role will involve creating lesson plans, conducting demonstrations, and providing hands-on instruction to students in a dynamic learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent communication skills, and a desire to inspire and educate students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of students at various levels of culinary experience
• Conduct demonstrations and provide hands-on instruction to students in various cooking techniques and methods
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student participation and encourages creativity
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their culinary skills
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continually improve the culinary education program
• Stay updated on industry trends, new cooking techniques, and ingredients to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the classroom
• Maintain and organize the culinary classroom, including equipment, supplies, and ingredients
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the kitchen and enforce proper sanitation practices

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience working as a chef or culinary instructor
• Degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Passion for teaching and inspiring others
