This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement processes to optimize fleet efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fleet management policies, procedures, and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of company vehicles.
• Monitor and track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance.
• Analyze data and provide insights to improve fleet performance and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement procedures to promote safe driving practices.
• Manage a team of drivers and maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure fleet availability and meet operational needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to obtain the best pricing and service.
• Conduct regular audits of fleet maintenance records and ensure all required documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fleet management technology to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing fleet management strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of fleet maintenance and repair procedures.
• Familiarity with fleet management software and systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
