Job Description: We are currently seeking a Furniture Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a Furniture Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our furniture warehouse. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient flow of furniture products in and out of the warehouse, as well as maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of furniture products in the warehouse.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping of all furniture products.
• Coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of furniture products.
• Supervise a team of warehouse associates, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Implement and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably in the furniture industry.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
• Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture products.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
