Location: Delta City, Mississippi, United States

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Education Coordinator. As the Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the educational programs and initiatives of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and making a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement educational programs and initiatives in line with the organization's mission and goals
• Collaborate with internal teams to create curriculum and materials for various educational programs
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of educators and volunteers to facilitate educational programs
• Oversee the scheduling and logistics of educational events and workshops
• Manage the budget for educational programs and ensure resources are used efficiently
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, universities, and other educational institutions to promote our programs
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with current education trends to inform program development
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement
• Prepare reports and presentations on the impact of educational programs for stakeholders and funders
• Act as a liaison between the organization and community partners to coordinate collaborative educational efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination or education
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Experience in curriculum development and program evaluation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Knowledge of educational best practices and current trends
