Key Responsibilities:

Conduct soil analysis and provide recommendations for fertilization and irrigation to optimize crop growth and yield.
Monitor and manage pest and disease control measures, including the application of pesticides and other treatments.
Assist in the planning and implementation of planting schedules and crop rotations to ensure a diverse and sustainable agricultural system.
Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, combines, and irrigation systems.
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of seeds, fertilizers, and other farming supplies.
Conduct regular crop inspections to identify and address any potential issues.
Harvest and store crops according to established procedures.
Work closely with farmers and agricultural specialists to develop and implement new techniques and technologies to improve agricultural processes.
Keep accurate records of all activities, including crop yields, expenses, and equipment usage.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational training or certification in agriculture or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an agricultural setting.
Comprehensive knowledge of crop cultivation techniques, pest and disease control, and farm equipment operation and maintenance.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse team of farmers and agricultural specialists.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Willingness to work long hours and weekends during peak season.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
