Job Title: Academic Affairs Director

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Affairs Director to join our institution's leadership team. As the Academic Affairs Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the academic programs and policies of our organization. You will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the academic integrity and quality of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement academic policies and procedures in compliance with institutional and accrediting agency standards.
• Collaborate with faculty to review and update existing academic programs and develop new programs to meet market demands.
• Monitor and evaluate academic programs to ensure they meet student learning outcomes and align with industry standards.
• Oversee the curriculum development process and ensure timely submission and approval of new courses and programs.
• Manage the academic budget and allocate resources appropriately to support academic programs.
• Foster a culture of academic excellence by providing professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.
• Work closely with the admissions team to ensure enrollment goals are met and students are provided with accurate information about academic programs.
• Serve as a liaison between the institution and external accrediting bodies to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with other academic institutions and industry partners to enhance academic offerings and opportunities for students.
• Chair the academic affairs committee and participate in other committees as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic administration.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and procedures.
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with higher education policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
