Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Academic Director to join our educational institution. As the Academic Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the academic programs and ensuring the overall success of our students. You will play a vital role in shaping the academic direction of our institution and ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement academic policies and procedures in accordance with the institution's goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with faculty members to design and update the curriculum to meet industry standards and accreditation requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the academic programs to ensure their effectiveness and make necessary improvements.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate faculty members to ensure the delivery of quality education to students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Oversee the academic budget and allocate resources appropriately to support the academic programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including industry professionals, to enhance the academic programs and provide students with real-world experiences.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in education to ensure that the institution remains competitive in the market.
• Lead and participate in academic committees and meetings to discuss and address academic issues.
• Provide mentorship and support to students to help them achieve academic success.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless academic experience for students.

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic leadership, preferably in higher education.
• Proven experience in curriculum development, program evaluation, and faculty development.
• Strong understanding of accreditation standards and requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in using technology and learning management systems.
• Passion for education and commitment to student success.
