Title: Network Security Administrator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Administrator to join our growing team. As a Network Security Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security protocols to protect our company's network and data from potential threats. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the safety and integrity of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design and implement security measures to protect the company's network infrastructure
• Monitor network activity for potential security breaches and promptly respond to any incidents
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks
• Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures
• Install, configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools
• Collaborate with IT team to ensure security measures are integrated into all network systems and applications
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and security technologies to continuously improve network security
• Provide training and support to employees on security protocols and best practices
• Respond to security incidents and provide timely and effective resolution
• Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of a security breach or disaster

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security administration
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
• Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM, and antivirus software
• Familiarity with security standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
