Position: Big Data Developer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Big Data Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Big Data Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our big data infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and implement solutions that will help drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain big data applications using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
• Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs
• Develop and implement data models, data integration processes, and data pipelines
• Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues and provide timely resolutions
• Optimize and tune data processing and storage systems for better performance
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to enhance business strategies
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all data-related processes and systems
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in big data technologies and make recommendations for improvement
• Mentor and train junior developers on big data concepts, best practices, and coding standards
• Collaborate with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and integration of big data applications
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Big Data Developer or in a similar role
• Strong experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Solid understanding of data structures, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects within tight deadlines
