Position: Instructional Technology Specialist

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Instructional Technology Specialist to join our team. As an Instructional Technology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative technology solutions to enhance teaching and learning experiences. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to identify needs and provide support in integrating technology into curricula. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong background in instructional technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teachers and administrators to identify instructional technology needs and develop strategies to meet those needs
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new educational technology tools and resources
• Provide training and support to teachers in the use of technology tools and resources for instruction
• Develop and deliver professional development workshops to enhance teachers' technology skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with teachers to design and develop technology-infused lesson plans and activities
• Assist in the implementation and management of learning management systems and other educational technology platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to instructional technology tools and resources
• Stay current on emerging trends and best practices in instructional technology and share knowledge with the team and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers
• Collaborate with other instructional technology specialists to share ideas and resources and support each other's professional growth
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Education, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional technology, preferably in a K-12 educational setting
• Strong knowledge of instructional technology tools and resources, including learning management systems, educational software, and virtual learning platforms
• Experience in developing and delivering professional development workshops
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for education and continuous learning
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in instructional technology

Experience with project management and budgeting is a plus
