Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of tobacco products, including raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
Use various testing equipment to perform quality control tests, such as moisture content, nicotine levels, and chemical composition
Analyze test results and report any deviations from the standard to the Quality Control Manager
Monitor and document production processes to identify any potential quality issues and suggest improvements
Collaborate with other departments, such as production and R&D, to address quality concerns and implement solutions
Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions
Train and educate production staff on quality control procedures and standards to ensure consistent quality of products
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, and proactively implement any necessary changes to maintain compliance
Participate in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations
Continuously strive to improve quality control processes, procedures, and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as chemistry, biology, or food science
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the tobacco industry
Strong understanding of quality control principles, practices, and procedures
Knowledge of tobacco regulations and standards, such as ISO and FDA regulations
Experience with testing equipment and methods used in the tobacco industry
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and report even minor deviations from standards
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with different departments and levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Flexibility to work occasional weekends and overtime as needed
