About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Big Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Big Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Big Data infrastructure and solutions. You will work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to ensure the efficient handling and processing of large and complex datasets. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale Big Data solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
• Optimize data pipelines and workflows to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of large and complex datasets
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with the Big Data infrastructure and applications
• Develop and maintain data quality checks and ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Implement security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Big Data technologies and make recommendations for their implementation in our systems
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related challenges and opportunities
• Document the design, implementation, and maintenance of Big Data solutions for future reference and training purposes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Big Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
• Extensive hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of database design, data structures, and data modeling
• Experience with data processing and ETL tools
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
