Job Title: Curriculum Specialist

Employment Type: Contract to hire

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum for various educational programs. You will work closely with our instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other team members to ensure that our curriculum is aligned with industry standards and meets the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to develop and update curriculum for various educational programs.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our curriculum remains relevant and effective.
• Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and assessments.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on all curriculum materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with learning objectives.
• Collaborate with instructors to provide support and guidance on curriculum implementation and delivery.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and make necessary revisions and improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to incorporate their expertise and resources into our curriculum.
• Provide training and professional development opportunities for instructors to enhance their understanding and delivery of the curriculum.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and instructional tools to enhance the delivery of our curriculum.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and curriculum development methodologies.
• Experience working with subject matter experts and instructors to develop and implement curriculum.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using instructional design software and learning management systems.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
