Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Database Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and a keen eye for detail. As a Database Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company's databases, as well as identifying and resolving any issues that may arise. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and a strong commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular database audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness
• Identify and resolve data quality issues in a timely manner
• Develop and implement procedures for data validation and verification
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and verify data across different systems
• Monitor and analyze database performance to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain data quality standards and guidelines
• Conduct regular data quality training sessions for team members
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database procedures and processes
• Work closely with the development team to ensure data quality is maintained throughout the development process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in database management or quality assurance
• Strong understanding of database concepts and structures
• Proficient in SQL and other database query languages
• Experience with data validation and verification tools
• Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify patterns and trends
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is a plus.
