Position: Language Services Coordinator

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Language Services Coordinator to join our team. As a Language Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the language services department and ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality translation and interpretation services to our clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong project management abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the language services department, including managing a team of translators and interpreters
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their language service needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Coordinate translation and interpretation projects, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of all services
• Collaborate with internal teams to determine project scopes, timelines, and resources needed
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders
• Conduct quality assurance checks on all translated materials to maintain high standards
• Develop and maintain a database of qualified translators and interpreters to meet client demands
• Provide training and support to translators and interpreters as needed
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in translation and interpretation technology

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a language services coordination role
• Fluent in at least two languages, with strong proficiency in English
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and translation/interpretation software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in client relationship management preferred
• Knowledge of different cultures and customs is a plus
