About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fashion Buyer to join our team. As a Fashion Buyer, you will be responsible for selecting and purchasing the latest fashion trends for our company. You will be in charge of building and maintaining relationships with vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring that our inventory remains fresh and relevant to our target market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the fashion industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a keen eye for upcoming trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, source, and purchase fashion merchandise that aligns with our target market and brand aesthetic.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, attend trade shows and fashion events to stay updated on the latest trends and collections.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure the best deals for the company.
• Monitor and analyze sales reports to identify top-selling items and make informed decisions on future purchases.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional strategies and campaigns to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
• Manage inventory levels and make recommendations for stock replenishment and clearance of slow-moving items.
• Work closely with the visual merchandising team to ensure that products are displayed attractively and in line with the company's branding.
• Stay updated on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to make informed buying decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Fashion Buyer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of the fashion industry, trends, and designers.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for fashion trends.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
