Position Overview: As a Ground Transportation Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of ground transportation services. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, goods, and materials within your designated area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of ground transportation personnel, including drivers, mechanics, and support staff, to ensure the smooth operation of all transportation services.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to maintain high-quality service and compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor and maintain transportation schedules, routes, and vehicle assignments to optimize efficiency and meet customer demands.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on all vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
• Manage and track expenses related to transportation operations, including fuel, maintenance, and vehicle repairs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
• Train and mentor staff on proper transportation procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation, including licensing, permits, and insurance requirements.
• Investigate and resolve any issues or complaints related to transportation services promptly and professionally.
• Analyze data and prepare reports on transportation operations, including performance metrics, costs, and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in using transportation management software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call as needed.
