Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems and networks. This role requires a strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement telecommunications systems and networks, including analyzing user requirements, determining equipment and software needs, and developing cost-effective solutions.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot telecommunication hardware and software, such as routers, switches, and servers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies and processes to improve network performance and reliability.
• Monitor and maintain network security, ensuring all systems are protected from potential threats.
• Conduct regular network performance tests and implement necessary upgrades and modifications to optimize performance.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and processes.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for telecommunications systems and networks, including responding to and resolving user inquiries and issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in telecommunications technologies, and make recommendations for implementing new technologies to improve network efficiency and functionality.
• Train and mentor junior team members on telecommunications systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems and networks.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies, such as VoIP, Ethernet, and MPLS.
• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and servers.
• In-depth knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
