Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the director and production team to understand the vision and style of the project
Read and analyze scripts or story outlines to determine the key scenes and shots that need to be illustrated
Create rough sketches and storyboards that depict the sequence of events and camera angles
Refine and revise storyboards based on feedback from the director and other team members
Incorporate color and lighting concepts into the storyboards to enhance the overall visual appeal
Create animatics or rough animations to help the production team understand the pacing and timing of the story
Work closely with the layout team to ensure that the storyboards are translated accurately into the final animation
Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve your skills and contribute new ideas to the team

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Animation, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Storyboard Artist in animation, film, or television industry
Strong portfolio showcasing your storyboarding skills and understanding of composition, perspective, and camera angles
Proficient in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Toon Boom Storyboard Pro, and other digital art tools
Excellent drawing and sketching skills with the ability to create dynamic and expressive characters
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual storytelling techniques
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to take direction and feedback from the director and other team members
Passion for animation and a strong desire to push the boundaries of storytelling through visual art
