Position: Lab Technician

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Lab Technician to join our team. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and procedures, analyzing and interpreting data, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with our team of scientists and researchers to support our ongoing projects and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols
• Prepare and analyze samples using a variety of techniques and equipment
• Record and interpret data accurately and maintain detailed records of experiments
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision of results
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during experiments
• Assist in the development and optimization of new laboratory protocols
• Communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Keep up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements and techniques in the field
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry) or equivalent experience
• Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred
• Proficient in various laboratory techniques and equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
